Specific Feedback
I like the pose and the heron’s reflection and the color of the water. I find the reflection of the trees distracting, but couldn’t figure out what to do about it. Any thoughts?

The reflection of the trees doesn’t bother me a bit, Allen. In fact, I like them. The only thing I’d change is to move the heron a touch right in the frame. Lovely image.
Hi Allen
I agree with Dennis on trees reflection and the only think I would do is move the Blue down in the frame, to give it more head room. Don’t you love Critques.

It’s always helpful to have multiple eyes on an image. Usually the suggestions are worth considering. The advice I’ve received from NPN members has resulted in improved photos that have done well in my camera club.
Very lovely!! I LOVE the reflections, and the composition!! (But I do like @Peter_Morrissey’s idea about a bit more room at the top and a bit less at the bottom — just a bit. A little more canvas could be created on top with content-aware fill, if needed.) The bird is sharp and well-detailed and the FG/BG has a lovely texture. You captured a very nice pose and reflection!
Hi Allen, I really like the setting for this photo and the pose of the bird as well. Nice soft tones throughout. Agree with the repositioning advice given above. A fine image.
