I was pretty close to this lizard. I’ve never seen one before, probably because they are native to Central America and this was my first trip to this part of the world.

David, the greens in the lizard blend very well with the greens in the background. Those work together to let it’s eye stand out. The head shape is amazing.
Really cool, David. As Mark noted, the monchromatic greens make this really amazing. The head shape reminds me of Tyler the Creator’s hair style at the Grammy’s. Part of me wants a little more of the shoulders? But I think I’m just searching desperately to offer some kind of suggestion. It’s fantastic as is.

Hi David, You have kept the essential elements and I think the green background colour is genius. The details of this Green Basilisk are so interesting and varied. I also appreciate that you have broken the rule of thirds deliberately. I feel this gives the photo a contemporary feel. Well done.
