Description
I love Bird of Paradise flowers but ours haven’t bloomed in several years. The leaves are still worthy subjects, especially in certain lighting conditions. >=))>
Specific Feedback
I played around with different orientations. I ended up with this which is simply flipped horizontally so that it flows up left to right. Your thoughts?

I like the orientation you presented. What I like most about the photo is there are so many ways to view it. When I saw the smaller image in the gallery I noticed the curves, when clicked onto the image you then see the incredible detail in the leaf, then the light and shadow, then those subtle horizontal “wrinkles” in the leaf. Really well done!
I like this a lot, Bill. The flow works very well and the detail of the cell structure is great. I do wish the hazy look weren’t there in the central portion of the image-not sure what would cause it.
A truly wonderful photo on the theme of “shadows”, Bill
I looked at it for a minute: You could cut off a little bit on the left and bottom so that the main direction is to the right and top.
Very, very beautiful light and shadow!
Bill, the sense of movement, especially above the main vein is excellent as it angles across the frame. The detailed structure in the cells is also wonderful.
