Congratulations on your new camera, Allen. I usually find when using new equipment that my shots aren’t as good as I would like because I am going through a learning curve, but you sure nailed this one really well. I love the orange against the yellow. Wonderful DOF by shooting at f16. You captured him a lovely position, to show off his wings so well. Very well done. :+1::+1:

Allen…
This is an amazing piece of work. One thing that really took me off if the color scheme across the frame. We are so used to the green , and this is different …love this

Allen: Great capture of one of my favorite butterflys/subjects. The BG is a real bonus and your plane of focus management is superb. Many kudos. :+1::+1:>=))>

You’ve got a very warm and inviting view here Allen, with all of the orange and yellow colors. It’s a beauty.

Excellent, Allen. I really like the composition and the out-of-focus zinnias in the background make a nice wash to set off the Fritillary.
