Seen one summer at a local NWR. These guys usually alight on my shirt and arms so I was glad to get this one on a grass blade.

The color patterns are best on the underside of the wings as in this view. The micro contrast of the details can be enhanced slightly to bring out more detail in the wings and body. Comp is awesome

Beautiful composition and BG. Couldn’t ask for better. I added a touch more sharpening as suggested by Jim Zablotny, which was a slight but definite improvement in the wing and hair texture. Be sure to look at it large.
