A nice look at this Blue Dasher, Allen. A very nice smooth background makes him stand out nicely. The angle you captured him gives a nice look at the face, but with f16 you were able to keep his whole body in focus. Nicely done. I don’t know if you can bring the highlights down on his eyes some or not, but it seems a bit hot. I like how his perch is curving inward.
Allen: Terrific portrait. I shot one of these guys a couple days ago but could not position myself to get a clean look at his face. Most excellent. >=))>
Allen, a fine catch of this Blue Dasher where the sharpness in most of his wings is a nice bonus.
