Oh my what a wonderful pose. Bravo for having patience to get this since it’s such an unusual view of a dragonfly, even if it’s normal for this species. The color variations on this one are really nice - from green to gold to blue. And that single continuous line from the branch to the tip of the tail! Great background, too. Super job.
Very nice, Allen. I agree with @Kris_Smith about the nice line from the end of the tail of the DF to the stem going out of the frame, very nice. I also love the web on the perch as well. You got a nice smooth BG that makes the subject and the DF stand out nicely. Great catch.
Superb!!! The subtle variations in the BG set off this beauty so well!! Perfect line, as @Shirley_Freeman said, and all in focus! I love seeing the colors in the thorax. Having the wings OOF is not a distraction here.
