Description

A flock of birds noisily appeared on the bay in front of me while I was kayaking back to shore. The merganser must have caught a pinfish as these gulls were seriously harassing it.

Lightroom global and local adjustments , Topaz AI noise and sharpening.

You’ve got excellent details in the four main birds with the gulls clearly squawking like crazy. It would be nice to not have the dark horizon, but standing up in a kayak is a recipe for disaster…you might try dodging the horizon to give it less visual weight.

You sure caught the action here Kathryn! The poor merganser looks like it’s having a rough time. Definitely harrassed.
