From earlier this year. Not an unusual visitor along the Oregon Coast and I’m more likely to see them on the rocks than in the water.

Very nice, Allen. I like the pose and composition and that diagonal rock face works very well to divide the image into some nice triangles.

One of my favorite birds. The most important thing with Harlequins always seems to be the exposure, which can be tough, and you absolutely nailed it.

I like the diagonal perch. Though I feel a sliver could be cropped off the left to give it a bit more relative space in front of the bird, this still works quite well.
