This was the first iceberg siting on our cruise up the East Coast of Greenland. The heavens had just opened to reveal a shaft of light as if it was showcasing the lone iceberg. I chose to present it in bnw for a minimalist effect.
Any suggestions welcome.

Heavenly indeed! I am loving the light along with the range of tones in this B&W conversion. The luminosity of the iceberg is particularly striking IMO. This had to be amazing to witness first hand as this scene unfolded before you. Beautifully done; no suggestions from me.

This is fantastic, Laura. I like the black and white approach and the simplicity of the image. It says “first iceberg” in so many ways. I can imagine the feeling of it looming and the excitement of the experience.
