Questions to guide your feedback

I think depending on the back round, subject, and conditions a black and white rendering of a subject will produce a more dramatic image.

Image Description

This image was captured at what I think of as the “Icelandic Iceberg Bay.” I really loved capturing several images of, admittedly small, Icebergs at this location in Iceland. I think that, as is often my preference, the rendering of the back round to total black with the white contrast of the iceberg makes this not only a more dramatic image, but focuses attention to the main subject and its reflection.

Very nice image Robert. It is a bit mind blowing because it looks like a huge floating quartz crystal with the cracks and the grey lines. Nice job burning down the BG to make this stand out. The reflection and water is nice and smooth to. The only thing I can think for your to try, if you have a bit more canvas to work with you might see what a different crop with a bit more space around it looks like.

Thank you for your comments and ideas, Ed. Robert
