This seems to be the norm with birds. The ladies really like to ignore the strutting males.

Dave: Made me smile at first sight. The Toms are pretty impressive and seem to know it. I know this is kind of a tongue in cheek shot but making the really OOF hen go away makes this better for me. Simple stroke of the AI remove tool and voila! >=))>

Excellent catch! I sometimes see them putting on a show around here, and it always seems the ladies are not impressed.

The ladies are always disinterested and must choose the best of available suitors. This photo shows this quite well and the story certainly fits the photo. Well done…Jim

Technical: For my taste the background is to sharp. A position more to the left would perhaps created a more distant background and allowed a less sharp background. But the hens in the foreground are essential for the story.
