Description

Hiking down from the Bugaboos in Canada and arrived just in time for the light to highlight just the waterfall. Random and so exciting.

Is it too “intimate”? Can you tell what you’re looking at?

You sure capture those highlights.
The ray light from above heading for the glowing water is very nice.

Thank you João

You bet we can tell!! Wonderful, and with the perfect light! Gorgeous detail on the mist at the bottom of the fall, and the diagonal line from the illuminated rock and light beam above to the blush of light on the rocks at the bottom ties everything together. Must have been amazing to see this!! You did it justice!

Oh thank you Diane! It’s so good to hear your comments. It was a completely unexpected scene & would have been very difficult to plan, so yeah, it was a euphoric experience of serendipity I so wanted to preserve.

Hi Connie,
Talk about serendipity! You were definitely in the right place at the right time. The light is totally amazing as it spreads out diagonally across the frame from the ULC. Sometimes the best things are totally unexpected as it was in this scene. Gorgeous image.
