Holiday Cheer

Image

Image Description

Taken during our first Christmas in NH in 2008. Full frame minus a sliver off the bottom.

Donna was preparing for the arrival of our family when I decided to capture this photo of the holiday setting on the dining room table. Light was provided by an overhead incandescent light and natural light from the windows. If you look closely, you can see the snow-covered front yard in the reflections (we really miss NH).

Here’s to continuing the holiday cheer tradition next week!

I tried to get the saturation correct, as close to as what I remember. Any comments on the post-shutter processing are appreciated!

Tones and colors look good to me, Jim. I like the reflections and those are cool glasses (but they’re empty :disappointed_relieved:). A nice festive table and image. Perfect for the holidays.

Very festive! I love the colours and reflections.
Seems to need a bit of straightening! A few degrees CCW would do it.
Great image!
