Honoring Phil

On our last night in Yellowstone with Phil we noticed this little bunch of wildflowers (ID?) at our campsite. We both decided to shoot them and then post our efforts when we got home. You can see his unedited take on his Flickr stream. I took the liberty of doing a lot of cleanup and BG alteration. All comments welcome. >=))>

Very nice tribute Bill.
Also very impressive PS work on your part to remove the grass blades on the far left flower.

So nice to see this, Bill - a fine tribute to a fine photographer.

They are just beautiful, Bill. We sure are going to miss Phil on here, and I can’t imagine how much you and any others that actually had the opportunity to go out and shoot with him. A fine tribute.

An excellent tribute to Phil and a real nice image.

Bill, this is indeed a fitting tribute to Phil. Showing this image that you took with him must bring back some nice memories. :+1:

Gorgeous image, Bill. I’m always amazed at the quality of flora images on NPN, and this is certainly one of those beauties.
