Second day with my tulips. I seem to see better in portrait orientation vs landscape when shooting flowers so I often have to consciously look for landscape comps. I wanted to include a couple of the leaves caressing this bloom. Does it work for you? All comments welcome.>=))>

I like where you’re going with this, Bill, but for my taste, this doesn’t quite get there. The leaves just seem a bit overpowering to my eye. I love the way the petal gap mimics the leaf shape (or vice-versa). Maybe if you could eliminate the furthest right leaf and pull the main one down a bit so it’s smaller in the frame?
I like Dennis’ suggestion, but I also like this as is. Worth trying a few alternate comps to see where it takes you,
