Nice perch and pose of this bird, Wayne. I don’t know how much room you have int he original, but I’d be tempted to remove a good share of the top and maybe add a little in front of the bird. The horizontal pose doesn’t seem to match the vertical crop well.
What Dennis said! A crop from the top was my thought when I saw the thumbnail. It looks like you have the IQ to crop. Depending on how much foliage is left, I’d lower saturation on it – it is very pretty but competes with the bird.
Hi Wayne, Nice details and light on the bird. I agree with the cropping suggestions above - take some off the top and add to the right. I’d especially get rid of the leaves with glare up top.
