This is my 2nd post in this group. I am so impressed with the images I see here, and I want to learn from those of you who are so good at wildlife photography.

This deer was grazing on a hill near Lake Michigan - it was nearly 9pm. I was surprised how thin she is. She looked my way when she heard the camera click, but she seemed unconcerned.

Hi Scot !
I like the dynamic pose, back lit ears and the foreground green foliage, they are all adding to the picture value.
But the tree trunk behind deer is bit of obstruction.

Thank you. Good reminder to think about those things. I was so focused on the animal, I did not notice the tree.
