The out of focus branches that aren’t fully saturated black don’t bother me in this image, Stave. I didn’t even notice them until you asked the question. An interesting treatment of the ibis in all those branches.
Steve, this is a wonderful image and a good study of lines and form. I don’t find the out of focus branches distracting. If you wanted to nudge this to be more abstract, you could crop in and cut off the top of the bird. This way the subject is more ambiguous. Thanks for posting.
