I’d go with the third image as I like the reddish background and the silhouetted birds (?ibis) appear closer.

The silhouettes definitely work Peter. I like the subtle dark morning blue light behind the pinkish sunrise clouds. Nice grouping and spread of the ibis in all of them.

Group silhouettes like this are tough in my experience, Peter. I always do a ton of them when I’m at Bosque del Apache and throw out 99% of them. Of these my favorite is the third with the nicely colored sky and three of the five birds with nice silhouettes. My personal preference is to have all the heads and beaks clearly outlined and that’s really the only issue I’d have with the image.

Hi Allen, ED & Dennis
Thank you for your insight. This is very much a work in progress. The third shot is my less favorite, because the Ibis are not all clearly defined.

Hi Peter, nice grouping shot. Another vote for #3 for the sky color. Tough shots to pull off but I think you’ve done pretty well here.

Hi Allen
Thank you for the kind words.
