I found this small scene in a stream in Tänndalen, Sweden.
I like it rather much, even if the ice and water somewhat compete for attention.

Oooh, nice! I don’t think the ice and water compete. It’s more that they complement each other, with those different textures.
Beautiful image, Ola. I do not feel water and ice competing at all. The two textures work great together in telling the story. Well done!

Hi Ola, agree with others, the ice and water make a good pair. In particular, the v-shaped ice formation is more interesting than a straight edge would have been, and the bonus is the apparent jewels it appears to contain. Well seen!
Ola, the paired “V’s” of ice and white water work very well, as does the mix of frozen and moving water. Well seen.
