What parent has not seen this expression?!

I love that look of consternation on his face, and that he is standing on mom’s leg and holding onto the bush with one finger. It seems this little guy is in trouble.

Sony A1 and 200-600 almost certainly (edit - this was from the 2014 Costa Rica trip with the D800, not the 2021 CR Trip with the Sony A1)

I love everything about this little drama you captured. I would be curious to see it as a B&W, and maybe play with the contrast on the subjects. Did you get to see a quetzal?

Dave - oh yeah, lots of quetzals. I’ve posted a couple and will come back around to more. A series of one swallowing a whole avocado is pretty cool.

I’m glad you edited the post to clarify how old this is, as I was holding off pointing out the very strange lilac color of the monkeys. I agree with @Ed_Williams and @Dave_Douglass that is a charming capture but it is badly flawed by the color issue. When I download it, I see that the color profile is Display P3.
