Description
Seen while kayaking in a cove near Old Saybrook CT. Thanks to the Endangered Species Act (50 years old!), ospreys, bald eagles, and other species are with us today in more plentiful numbers. This guy was enjoying his lunch and keeping a close eye on me.

Technical Details
Sony RX10M4, ISO 80, 1/320s, f/5, 600mm (35mm equiv). Made some adjustments to exposure and clarity in post processing. Cropped quite a bit so won’t stand up to much enlarging.
