I love the different directions the water is taking in this scene. It’s so dynamic and energetic. A real fury contained. White are probably blown in spots, but it’s not a literal translation of the scene so I don’t think it matters. It’s more an illustration in a sense. Nice catch and work to create the lines and action.

Last year I spent some time experimenting with that technique as well. It’s really fun.
I can’t see really blown out whites. I just downloaded your file and dialed back the exposure. There are beautiful textures everywhere… and some dust/water spots
