I was photographing bumblebees in poppies with my Sony A7rv (known for rolling shutter issues) at 1/1600 sec (bumblebees wing flaps are between 130-240 beats/second). When I downloaded the images, I had several that displayed this kind of pattern, which I actually thought was kind of fun, so I thought I’d share it.
That is definitely weird. Never seen anything like that with my rig, although I’ve seen other weirdness so it does happen with other brands as well. Oddly, this reminds me of Max Headroom’s electronic stutter. Yes, I’m dating myself.
