A really nice pose Dan. Junco is square to the camera, head up and eye wide open. Lots of movement going on that even 1/2500 can’t freeze. Bird is nice and sharp with lots of fine detail. Good one.
I love the pose and eye contact which is tough to get when all the water is flying. To my eye, the plumage looks oversharpened in this one. This species has fairly coarse feathers and they don’t take well to sharpening, so I’d back off on that. Otherwise a fine image.
Well done. The head is sharp with nice blur in the wings and great water action.

Dan, I’ve really enjoyed this shot, especially the water droplets which reflects some of the image in the droplets own little world. Agree with others on sharpening. I have to be careful when going from Lightroom to Photoshop as my Lightroom automatically adjust sharpening which can lead to over sharpening in Photoshop. Great shot, Wayne
