Very interesting pose with excellent detail. The light is wonderful. I don’t know if it would be helpful or not to rotate clockwise to level out the shadow. This is an artistic decision.

Hi Allen, a fun pose you caught here and I like the shadow with the simple surroundings. Perhaps crop in from left to de-center the bird.

You did a good bright sun light. The Killdeer head tilt give us a good eye contact and helps control the whites. The over all feather detail is very good and the shadow works for me.
