Pertinent Technical Details
Three Ektachrome slides taken with a Nikon F3, and stitched together in Photoshop. In the process, the landscape became overly “smooth” and I quite liked that, I wanted the quintessential Swiss “chocolate box” effect…
Pieter,
It looks like a painting and I find that very refreshing. My only critique is regarding the slight magenta band in the sky. that look artificial.

Probably from the scanner I used to digitize the slides – so, yes, artificial.
I agree with @Youssef_Ismail’s comments. You did a good job scanning the trannies and stitching this together. Also, regarding the sky, you might try to darken it a bit to bring up the blue and the clouds. You might also try to bring up the dense shadows on the right side, but it’s not a deal-breaker.
Great effort, here!

Thanks, @Preston_Birdwell and @Youssef_Ismail , for your thoughtful comments. I will definitely play with the sky a bit!
