Cattle in a meadow full of wild flowers. Cezallier region (Auvergne, central France). This is ancient culture landscape, man made, but with lots of heritage from the old volcanoes that once shaped the land.
I spent a week there with my wife, walking in the hills that reach about 6000 ft. here and there. Enjoying the local cuisine. This image characterizes the region for me. It’s very rough in winter, but gentle in summer.
