Lake Placid Sunset

My wife and I were just returning to our B&B after dinner when this beautiful sunset was unfolding last August while on vacation in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. Having left my camera kit back in our room, I had to resort to my Samsung Galaxy to record the moment. I liked the horizontal lines of the clouds and the lone pine tree silhouetted against the colorful background.

Technical Details

Samsung Galaxy S10e, ISO 80, 1/120s, f.2.4, 26mm (35mm equiv.) Really not much processing; I darkened the shadows a bit to make them blacker.

Jim, this is a lovely sunset. There is such a wide range of colors in the sky and the trees and shrubs make a good foreground. What a great memory to look at regularly.
