It seems that many of my favorite photos are from unexpected opportunities. In this case it was early Spring and I stopped by the nearby, still partly frozen “swan pond” to get some photos of the early Trumpeter Swans and these two Land Otters showed up and put on quite a show of playing and love making. I took lots of photos and this is just the first one in the series.

Very fun to look at. I feel like I there in the moment with you. Great that you got down so low and be at their level. Great detail including the texture of the snow.
