Hi Sandy,

One of my favorite Northern species and I never get to see them with their breeding plumage. Looks good as presented…Jim

Hi Sandy,
Really great double capture - Very nice to get both these stunning birds in focus with such a pleasing background. They posed very nicely especially the top one calling out. Well done!
Not a nit for me but the top of the perch under the bird’s left foot looks much more oof than the foot itself - maybe my eyes are seeing it wrong but it struck me as a little odd.

Wow, what a lovely photo! I’ve never seen this species of bird, but after seeing this photo, I’d sure like to. Great image, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Wonderful light. Nice to get both birds in focus. Superb perch and background makes the birds pop well.

Sandy, I am not familiar with this species of birds either, but you have presented them so well, it makes me want to see them where maybe I could aim my camera in their direction. Great perch and background to go with them.

A lovely composition, Sandy. Excellent detail and perch. But shouldn’t it be “Longspurs”? Hows that for a trivial nit?

Of course, duh. Changed! thanks -
S
