Wanted to convey the feeling of walking along a forest trail in late afternoon in autumn, with bright, warm light coming from the right, trail curving off into the distance.

Hi Michael,
I would say that you succeeded with what you were trying to convey with this image as the light along with the warm autumn color makes this very inviting. The sweeping curve of the road also works well and does a wonderful job of drawing the viewer into the scene. My only suggestion would be a crop from the top to get rid of that area of bright sky as it tugs at my eye somewhat. Really lovely fall scene.

Michael, the lovely colors, nice shadows and curving road do a fine job of inviting me to enjoy the day and the stroll. I could see a bit (more??) burning-in of the sky in the upper right corner, but do think that including the sky is valuable.
