What about the composition ? I like the light at one site and the dark while light comes through , at the other site. There is not so much color, but it’s early in the year,

Beautiful light, Ben. From a composition standpoint, I think I would crop from the bottom to eliminate the kind of empty ground between the foliage, which puts more focus on the light/dark in the trees. Minor detail, but I think it would improve the image.

Hi Ben,
The light in this woodland scene is quite lovely and I love the interplay of light and shadow as it seems to add an air of mystery to the image. I am very much enjoying the specular highlights on those trees on the left side of the frame. For some reason this reminds me of Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven”. Beautifully done!
