Hi Ben,
The strong directional light works quite nicely for this woodland scene and you did a great job with not letting the shadows on the tree trunks get to dark. I also like the FG grasses as well as they add an air of mystery to the image. I am also enjoying the bit of rust/brown leaves in the BG because it adds some separation from the rest of the scene. No suggestions from me; very nicely done!

I like the nice touch of grasses in the foreground acting as a frame for the rest of the scene. Well done.

Oh yes. It’s clear what you were after. The patch of sunlight on the bottom hanging branch. How often I have seen scenes like that and stopped spellbound. Just taken it all in and appreciated it. The low view through the grasses does provide a sort of frame from below. I like the one on the left sticking up. It has a flair to it.
