Excellent mix of light Ben; that does cause me to pause and linger awhile.

The composition is very interesting to me, because the left and right are almost like two different images. If you had verbally described this image to me, I would have guessed that would be problematic. But seeing the image, I think it all comes together nicely and I enjoy its uniqueness.

This really has a three dimensional feel to me Ben. Not sure how exactly you’ve captured that, but that back tree coming out of all the branches is fascinating. Another great image here.

Hi Ben,
It is good to have this beautiful city park so near to your home as it gives you the opportunity to keep coming back and seeing things in different kinds of light or different atmospherics. As you said “every time there is something new to make images of”. You always seem to find a beautiful tree and capture it in this amazing light and this image is no exception and the light on those grasses in the LRC is exquisite. BTW I also love the haiku.

This is such a lovely image, @Ben_van_der_Sande! The mixed light, colors ranging from subtle to vibrant, and beautiful composition of a chaotic scene all work in harmony here. You’re lucky to have this park to explore.

I could tell this was your image just from the thumbnail, Ben! It has your local park written all over it. As usual, you have exquisite light to work with. I actually like the blurred grasses in the LRC. They are dancing playfully with those crazy bending branches from the tree on the left and it looks like one of those branches is reaching down to tap the grasses. . The whole scene is a bit busy but it works because of the separate quadrants in the image.
What draws my attention and keeps it there? The branches from the tree on the left twisting and turning and mingling with everything else in the scene. I also love the light in the LRC and the dancing grass.

@Ed_Williams @John_Williams @Bret_Edge @Ed_Lowe @David_Haynes . It came all together, where it began with those crazy branches . Thank you all for your comments. Ben :grinning:
