Hi Ben, Quite a lovely image. Subtly balanced composition and the colors are delightful. I wouldn’t change a thing…

Quite the lovely woodland scene Ben. This has a nice mix of shadows and light; giving the image a nice sense of depth. I also like the smattering of orange leaves spread about the frame. Nicely done as always.

The mix of colors and lighting are enchanting Ben.

I’m conflicted about the open window on the left; it feels a little disconnected from the rest of the image to my eye. I find myself wondering if there was another branch with leaves there, would the balance feel better?

Yes, the subtle color tones are very nice. This looks as though it might have been more like mid-day sun. If so, you did a very nice job getting this painterly look. I also like the darker foreground against the lighter background. And the background is not over exposed to be distracting. Nicely done.

@patrick6 , @guy , @Ed_Lowe , @John_Williams , A bit late I think. But I want to thank you all for your nice comments on this mid-day image. About that open window at the left @John_Williams , I did try different crops to make it a bit less. But I came all the time at this composition (personal taste)
