Katherine, this is a fine, inviting look at this clear stream and the underwater rocks. The highlights from the sun through the ripples look good. The bright rock along the top of the frame gets a lot of attention. You can burn that part in to reduce it’s visual weight. Another option looks like cropping the big rocks along the top and on the left, that would let the ripple highlights get more attention. In my view, abstracts are all about creating a feeling. This one does a good job of sitting the viewer beside a mountain stream on a beatiful day.
