Excellent detail and overall great look at the heron. The setting is pleasant as well and having the crawdad is a nice bonus.

Beautiful shot, Allen, with some interesting natural history. These birds aren’t really equipped for tearing a critter apart and it’s hard to visualize swallowing something like this whole. It doesn’t look like it would go down easily. I also didn’t realize that Little Blue Herons could have this reddish head.

Another great set from your swamp tour Allen. The crawfish is a great bonus feature in these. Nice work.
