I had some that were more in the open, but this was the typical environment they seem to prefer and I like how the curlew blends in with its surroundings.

Very nice image of this bird in its preferred environment, Allen. It looks like you had an extremely productive trip. I do wish there were a touch more light in the eye, but this is typical of that whole tribe.

Allen, I love the environment here. Out in the open is always nice, but this is typical of where we find these guys, and I prefer this.

Such an interesting bird and one I am not familiar with. Love the long curved beak. Good to know that is their preferred habitat. Thanks for sharing.
