Lost in Huangshan

As my first post I’d like to share an image from my Sept '18 trip to Huangshan, China aka Yellow Mountain. I had the opportunity to spend 2 nights in a dorm at the top of the range. As for this picture I felt it showed how in the afternoon the cloud come in and sweep across the mountainscape often obscuring the magnificent rocky monuments.

Nikon D7100, Nikon 24-120, 2 image blend 1/250@f/16.

Welcome aboard and real nice first post. The fog creates a great mysterious mood, with great hints of what lies behind. Very nicely done. I am looking forward to seeing more of your work and your input.

Welcome to NPN Bob. A terrific first post. Fog and low-hanging clouds do wonders for the landscape and there’s not an exception here. Even without a scale reference, you’ve captured the daunting geology of this mountain formation. Processing looks good as well. No nitpicks or suggestions.

thanks for sharing and we look forward to more images and your participation.
