Low tide

These three Greater Yellowlegs were a part of larger group of Yellowlegs that were working mud flats in low tide on the One Mile River in Old Lyme, Ct. (July 9 at 8:35 AM)

The shot was taken hand-held from my Zodiac.

Thank you for stopping by.

A nice look at the yellowlegs: good detail and well composed. Must be nice having a boat to get shots like this.

Excellent color, detail, light, and grouping. The reflections work well.

Good for you to get all three birds with nice poses facing you. You were pretty close! I like the crop and suggest you might look at taking a slice off the top to eliminate the little black blobs. Birds are well placed in the frame.
