I just had to post this one for this week’s challenge. It’s not a great photo, but the colors knocked my socks off. It was a big year for madrone berries - the trees everywhere had a big crop.

Bonnie, the complex shapes of the trees and the deep blue sky stand out here. It’s an intriguing view that seems like it’s better than “not a great photo”. I wonder if some of that feeling is because it looks like a mixture of real and abstract where neither of those dominates. Have you looked at a version without out the clear sky at the top?
