Great look at the feathers of the under wing.I think the tip of the other wing hurts the head shot a bit.

Beautiful detail and a nice low angle, Dan. The far wing doesn’t really bother me, though I suspect it would look even better if the wings were just a touch further back. I’d be more than happy with this one.
Nice job. Bird is turned this way just a bit, well exposed and nice and sharp. And the nice low POV. A very good start to the year.
Good job here! The exposure is pretty good although I think 1/4 of the stop lower on the whites would be helpful (or maybe I am just unfamiliar with a sunny day) though there is good detail. Water in the point of view are superb.
