Description
I’m pretty sure this is all the same house Finch. This one family of two Birds has been showing up at my feeder for about two or three days. You seem to be the most cooperative birds I have seen yet.
I just started taking pictures again at myI set up.

Hi David, you caught some really nice poses of this photogenic finch. Colors look realistic with a pleasing BG. There appears to be ghosting around the bird in the first image. All of these are nice frames.
Nice colors and great looks at this finch David. I really like the perches in 2 & 3. Nice sharp feather detail throughout. The little bit of ghosting is only in the first one.
I am not sure why this occurs. In the original image there was a 20 pixel grey halo around the entire bird. I very carefully tried to remove it wit the remove tool but was unable to completely eliminate it. Seem to only occur with red or red bird parts. This was 20% full frame roughly. Is it a sensor issue or something else. Process error? Best way to remove? Best way to avoid. Does lighting play a role? I have reasonable ps cc skills but this one has me stumped?
Thanks for reply’s.
All very nice looks at the finch. The green background works well with the finch’s red. Hard to pick a favorite, but I might go with the second for the over the shoulder pose and the background.
Hi David
There all very nice, but I have to pick number 2 with the head turn and really clean lines, as my favorite. The glow around frame number one, looks like a processing error. ( like a cutout and paste, when transition from foreground to background could not handle the edge)

Very nice group of images, David. I particularly like the pose of the first bird. It looks like a courtship pose. Weh have mostly Purple finches and one of the males has reallybeen putting on a show for at least one female (always when I’m in the middle of doing dishes).
