Mangrove's Edge

This was made on the NE coast of Qatar during a camping/kayaking trip at sunset. It’s one of a recent set of square format abstracts I worked up for a display at home. I like the bare simplicity of the scene.

Bill, the mostly blue transition to orange/red works very well here, as does your focus on that first bit of vegetation. I do wonder how moving your crop a bit to the right, to complete the reflection’s curve in the upper right, would look?

A lovely image, Bill. I really like the blurred reflections in the blue area and the vegetation adds just that hint of variation needed.
