Very cool closeup here, David. If it was actually a map we’d be guessing which hemisphere, continent, and which is water and which is landmass. I really like it… :sunglasses:

Perhaps it’s “Gondwanagecko”.

Too cool, David, and very creative.

A very appealing image, David. However, I think the crop is just too large for the ultimate sharpness, I wonder if at 400mm you couldn’t have got closer? That of course depends on how used the animal is to human beings. Grt, Ingrid.

A cool abstract, David. Maybe you should have taken a macro setup.

Great abstract, wonderful colors and pattern !
Please let us know, what is it ??

It may look like fancy beadwork but it is a closeup of a Gecko
