Description
My wife is into astronomy and we had been out Thursday and Friday to peek at Mercury. I decided it would make a good entry for this weekly challenge, so I took the camera out tonight.
Specific Feedback
Anything. I don’t do astro as a rule (can’t stay up that late).
Technical Details
Sony A1, FE 200-600 + 2.0 TC @ 1200 mm, Tripod with gimbal head, cable release, manual focus, manual exposure. f/13, iso 640, 1/3 second. Processed in LR & PS CC. No Crop. Just a curves layer to darken the background since it’s only seen within an hour or so of sunset and slightly above the western horizon.
