Took this in April 2021. Difficult to expose for the moon and foreground, I concentrated on the moon. I’m quite happy with the final edit.
Next time I may try a composite of two different exposures.

Eddie, I too find the extreme brightness of moons a real challenge with slow speed film. I use grads a lot and seems to work best with film. No doubt a composite image is easier to deal with in that respect.
This works just fine as presented and the FG lights on the flags and wall helped to illuminate that area well enough IMO.
Eddie, the moon’s exposure is excellent, with plenty of details showing. I think the darkness and contrast of the flags and the monument’s bricks fits the scene very well. In fact you might burn-in the brighter bits near the bottom of the monument. The two figures are a fine, subtle addition.
Excellent! Perfect exposure and detail on the moon. It’s wonderful to have the same warm colors on the Monument and the light on the flags is very intriguing.
