Moon setting at dawn

The image was about the moon setting between the two peaks. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to find a better foreground. Would this be better by cropping out the foreground and have the image start in the ocean waves?

John, this is such a beautiful scene. A few things:

  1. I think it could use some CCW rotation
  2. I would clone out the seagull on the far right side of the “horizon”
  3. I would also look at the masking of the sea stack in the BG. There are some quite prominent halos especially on the right half of the image.

Thanks Ashoka. I was a little too quick to post. Haha. I noticed the halos after I hit send. Great suggestions.

I will echo @Adhika_Lie’s comments. He’s usually pretty much right on.
